If your asking from a performance standpoint then I would say NGK, reasoning being they are easy to read for one and I think for the most part is the preferred plug for most engine builders when they put them on the dyno. These guys aren't exclusive to one particular brand or another most of the times, they use what works best and what has been proven to make the most power.Ngk v power vs. Champion rc12yc.
But will I gain a 3 tenths to second using them? Lol that's the claim by a certain guy I know.
Point is if he thinks that just changing plugs did all that and brand something else is way off.If your asking from a performance standpoint then I would say NGK, reasoning being they are easy to read for one and I think for the most part is the preferred plug for most engine builders when they put them on the dyno. No and I wouldn't make that claim either under normal circumstancesBut will I gain a 3 tenths to second using them? Lol that's the claim by a certain guy I know.
I like the way you think! LolWhatever's cheapest.
They're all about the same, regardless of what some will try to tell you. The only exceptions are the snake oil stuff like Splitfire, E3 and "those" kind of "plugs".I like the way you think! Lol
And my way over carbed and cammed, ported oversized valve Harley. They Work the BEST, for MeI use Autolite in my big block and small block cars.
So your basing your response off of what? Your 125 hp Valiant? How many high power engine builds you been around and with the builder and got direct input from them during the dyno sessions...plus you don't think racers themselves will not try different plugs along with a few dozen other things on a car to see what gives them the most performance? Come on now.....They're all about the same, regardless of what some will try to tell you. The only exceptions are the snake oil stuff like Splitfire, E3 and "those" kind of "plugs".
Wanna tell me there is no power to be found in oil pan construction or even oil viscosity too....all the same? They're all about the same, regardless of what some will try to tell you. The only exceptions are the snake oil stuff like Splitfire, E3 and "those" kind of "plugs".
Wow dude, Really? So your basing your response off of what? Your 125 hp Valiant? Yeah really....when are people on this forum gonna stand up to truth and if it hurts someone's feelings then so be it. That answer of whatever is cheapest is 100% wrong AND the OP initial question and reasoning was to find out if one plug makes more power or not. I don't honestly think there are huge gains to be made but the fact of the matter is the fastest guys take ALL of those menial gains and then they add up to a winning car that nobody can touch.Wow dude, Really?
You learn from Badasses and wisdom tells you to steer clear of the dumb ones.......I won't elaborate any furtherWell, you sound like an Arrogant *** to me Dude. There are ALOT of People here that HAVE real World Experience, without relying on hired "Badasses".
How'd that work in high school for ya?
Which one is the cheapest? LOLThere is absolutely a difference. Just did this experiment 2 weekends ago.
Same cylinder. Same jets. Same air. Same fuel. Same RPM launch. Same oil temp.
The only difference was the plugs. The one on the left were regular Autolite 3923. The right one was an AR3923. Same series. Huge difference in A/F. The AR3923 was a huge improvement
