[WANTED] Speedo gear

I'm running a 904 from a Cordoba and 8 3/4 rear differential with 3.55 gear ratio and I need the correct color gear drive to use in my 65 Plymouth barracuda fastback gasser project. I have a black gear drive but I think someone mentioned I need a red gear drive. My tires are 27 inches

also need orings for it and the shaft that slides into center hole that goes up into plastic gear

That is what was in my 1978 cordoba 904 transmission and i confirmed with dodge dealership that was what they came with from 75 to 82 mopar 904 transmissions even in trucks

I thought so but both the guys at dealership, transmission shop and dicks speedo repair says to stay with what Chrysler installed. And I have the other type of speedo gear/housing and I had new speedo cable made to work with the factory instalked part in the pix

you need 34 tooth gear. i will look when out in garage shortly. i only have one at this time.

Should be interchangeable AS A UNIT...critical measurements seem to be the same...

What do you have for a cable? Those later styles used a clip on connection to the speedo head. Your '65 Barracuda should have a screw on type. Some hybrid you had made?

cudamark: i have the late 70's cable that clip on and has 2 orings on shaft and my motor/transmission came from a 78 cordoba that is in my 65 barracuda gasser
