Hellllllp!!!
The speedometer cable in my '74 Duster needs lubed. I remember this being a 30 minute job back when I had my '68 GTS. When I got under the dash, I was shocked at how much more stuff was behind the '74 dash.
I tried pulling the instrument cluster straight out, but that's not going to happen so I was wondering how to get to the speedo cable? Can I just drop the steering column or is there a better way?
I want to get things cleaned up and all the little maintenance stuff done before I put this one up for sale. Going back to a '68 Dart and build a GTS clone. I think I'll be much happier with that car.
Anyway, I digress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Leo

How I do it..
Discoonect the battery cable. Remove the one screw in the fuse box. Move the fuse box enough to get a hand in there. Bring the end of the sheathe out near the fuse box.
