Spring placement?

Right there by the lower trunk latch...It pops open the trunk when you put in and turn the key!

would you believe my 65 does not have a cut out for that spring!

My '65 doesn't have a cutout for that spring either. Was it an add on?

I've had 3 different Barracudas, 1 64 and 2 65's Barracudas and they all had the spring added. It just helps pop the trunk up a little when you unlock it.

I went out in the garage and looked at my 65, and it has the popper spring thing!
