i know i have read several posts on this subject in the past, but can't seem to find the info i need in searching old posts .. so here goes ..
working on my '66 cuda > street car only > but will definitely see some punching now and then ! .. mild-build up on '318' w/ hopped up '904'; 2500 stall w/ 8 3/4 rear end w/ 3.73 gears .. leafs moved in 3" to allow a little more room for wider tire >> replacing my rear leaf springs .. looking to fit a 275 tire so am looking for a little lift over stock to accommodate some extra room .. but don't want the thing hanging up in the sky in the rear / front end pointing down either !
*seem to recall forum discussions about SS springs vs. HD(?) springs ??
*recall 002 vs 003 springs discussions ?? i want my car to sit level > don't need the height difference to launch the car level on strip > street only .. info ???
*i don't mind if ride is a little stiff > just looking for some extra lift / level car !

i've read you can oder stock +1".. and stock +2" .. how much can i go before i get the 'tilted' look ??? what do i need to accomplish what i am looking for ???

looking for p/n's and source .. read somewhere on here of a source that is about 1/2 price of others and still a good product / good people to work with ! ..

pics of other first gen cudas w/ specific info would be great !
THANKS !!

ESPO.com AKA Springs and things have a 1 inch over bend. I have used these before for a few years on my old Duster. Excellent handling ride comfort as well as taking off from a dead stop was all ways straight. Though sometimes when you do rear springs, a tweak may be in order since there is some play room where a slight shift may occur and have the car track to one side.

Currently in my new toy, a '70 Duster big block, I have the MP XHD springs which so far, feel the same, but are largely untested.

Both springs give the car a modest rake that in my opinion, looks great. Sorry, no pictures. But it doesn't have that "Sky High" look that S/S springs give. Leave the S/S springs for the "Serious street, Pro Street and Track guys."

thanks for the response rob ... good, helpful information

any first gen cuda feedback with pics out there ?
