Search for a program called SmitFraudFix its hosted by Joe Danger. I have worked on many others computers and this is the easiest way to remove infected files from your drive. If necessary load it from another computer onto a jump drive and start up the computer in safe mode. Locate the program and open it up. It will start up a command promp. First have it search, it will then compile a report, then have it destroy the infected files. Many times the file will be something like: windowsUpdate. Exe or similar. They use an exe file extension most times and try to make it look like a windows file. A real windows file would be Microsoft service pack update for example, not a XP or Windows exe files as they are not identified that way. Most software will overlook that. The program I use looks at each program and all its file extensions to determine whether the file is legit. It will even remove screensavers that were free downloads if they contain adware. Hope it helps you..... I may work on PC and and be able to save them, however my preferred system is Mac..... Don't want to have to deal with spyware and viruses.....
The most common thing that kills a PC's hard drive is anti- spyware and anti-virus as it always running and taxing the system memory and over working the hard drive...... Average life span for most pc computers is 4 years or so give or take on how often you use it. Mac life span is 8 to 10 years plus. Also easier to upgrade and won't void the warranty if you do it yourself. PC manufactures will not allow you to touch even the painted screws on the case without voiding warranty..... Macs will also dual boot and run windows as well as OSX..... But it's more expensive.
Unless you go used on say CL and then upgrade the Sh*t out of it. I bought a MacBook Pro that's one year old for $450 and then added 16gb DDR3 ram and a 7200rpm Terabyte high performance drive. ( 1 TB = 1,000GB ) it was cheap and easy to do runs windows 8 and Mac OSX 10.8 flawlessly. Fast as heck and no viruses to worry about.
