Is there a cheap way to buy stainless bolts, washers etc. The only place I can get it is at fasten all. Kinda spendy.

For what ? ARP sells stainless engine bolt kits for around $100

nothing special, I use stainless on the jeep a lot. I would just like to buy an assortment to have around.

I shop for all the odd ball nuts, studs, bolts, plugs, washers, etc here. They have a huge inventory, and if it isn't listed they can get it. If it isn't listed on the site e-mail sales@fastenerhut.com, for your requests. I just got a huge order of stainless stuff last week.
