steel braided line install issues

What are you guys using to cut the line?
I used tape and a wiz wheel and its not clean enough to get the fitting on.
 
Tape and a real sharp chisa;. Smack it hard with a hammer and it should cut right through it clean, one shot.
 
Its in the car and dont want to take it out if at all possible.
 
If you tape it tight enough with say, electrical tape or duct tape, it should keep that end from fraying out. I know what you're talking about.
 
i didnt take the tape off this time and it worked great.
