Steering Column Questions

-
So Im confused. I have that tab on the column shaft, which may or may not be used for a column auto shift it seems, I also have what appears to be the proper key collar for 1970(no tab to release the key), and it also does not have a collar that used to have an auto shift lever on it. Looking in the parts manual, everything I see has a column shift except for one(illus. page 19-1), which is a floor shift for 1971, and that does not appear to have that tab in question on it.
Thoughts??

Dana look in 1970 parts catalog 21-30-2.
2950965 is column shift lever for 1970
Its so confused, no photo of a 70 column auto shift exploded view

Then in the automatic trans section it shows a lever with knob for auto column for 70?

I'm so confused

So Im at a loss as to trying to figure out what column I have. I thought it was an automatic column because I discovered a hole in the lower collar, but then I see lower collars with the same hole being sold as a 70 floor shift, THEN I see other collars being sold as a 70 floor shift without that hole. My lower collar can also be turned slightly, which in turn moves that tab on the lower column, telling me that the lower collar is for a column shift, but the for sale ads tell me different!! UGH!! Any ideas or opinions?
You can see the hole Im talking about in this pic

Then in this one for sale from Classic, it doesnt have the hole in the lower collar
