I ran across this video series. Now it is for an E body, but it is 99% the same as A body.

There is a lot of information, especially about the restoration process, but he is very detailed on how to disassemble and reassemble.

'66, '67, '68 columns are all different in minor but important ways. '68- to '69 I'm not as sure about. '70 is different again.

There's a thread here on FABO changing the lower bearing - IIRC its for a '68
