steering wheel removal

have a 72 dart 3 spoke stock wheel. before i tear it up, how does the horn button area come off. throght they might be screws behind the wheel like most wheels, but don't see them. does it pull off, all at once, one side or other first etc. ???:ADDED THE PHOTO OF THE WHEEL. WHICH ONE IS THIS??

It should just pop off with a good pull,it,s held on with sping loaded clips.

The center trim piece just pops out, it's held in with clips. you'll have to pry it out with a screwdriver but be gentle it might be brittle. Under that there are three screws holding the bigger plastic part that has the horn buttons in it.

Try pushing down, and twist to the left? That's how '70 comes off.

just a check, is this the one that you just pull off?? someone let me know before i do it. thank you in advance

The center plastic piece comes out but the little tangs that hold it in place often break off. No big deal though. I have one that has stayed in place without any fasteners for years. Sometimes I would lift and and hold it up for my rear passengers and say "here, blow the horn" LOL
