Just wanted to share.. My youngest daughter has gotten a 69 dart custom 2dr she is working on getting it on the road as she can... We found a guy on here that was parting a car so we asked about getting the rear shocks and the back window trim clips. He said I will sale you the front and rear shocks and the front and rear trim clips, for a good deal I will say.. It did take a little time to make the deal as she works part time after school so moneys is tight for her.. (she paid for her car and all parts that it needs) So the day came when the box showed up.. Well the box was damaged and guess what the rear shock and rear trim clips where all missing. USPS said oh sorry about that, we emailed the guy we got it from and he was so sorry that this happened he took it upon his self and ordered a set of new rear shocks (same brand that he sold her) and also the rear window trim clips.. He spent more money than what he sold the used parts for he said " I am very sorry that this happened. I always try
to be honest and stand by my word, and I said I would sell her the rear
shocks and window trim clips, so that is what she is going to get, even
if I end up losing money on the transaction" And that is what he did... So just wanted to share that there is still good people out there.... Thank you REED.

there are still good honest people out there. so seldom do their good deeds come to light.

my kids. now grown, worked after school and paid for their rides. the youngest daughter bought a early 80's ? Lebaron vert, in '92 when she turned 16... with 150,000 on the meter and its second engine! drove it till it had 350,000 mi. later a guy gets it and calls me wanting to sell me a "classic". I just had to share that! Ha

I'm sure the shipper is putting a claim in with UPS, but that takes some time. They admitted to me that they lost a third member themselves and it still took me over 4 months for them to pay me the money. Meanwhile I refunded the original buyer and I had to wait for a refund.
Even after they told me they scanned the chunk in at one terminal and lost it!

I am going through that with the Canadian post right now. Ordered a clutch kit from a e bay member I have used before and I got an empty box that arrived at my PO empty. I know he shipped it it was weighed in at 6 kilos! Just a pain.

She watched her older brother and sister in classics so she couldn't help it... this is the families first mopar and we have learned real fast how pricy they can be...

When I got the box it had usps stickers on it saying that it was damaged at there Seattle office and they rewrapped it. when I asked about it they said that it wasn't insured..ops: That I needed to contact the sender?
