Stock 340 redline

Mine was a 340 4spd all stock with x heads new springs Eddy RPM performer Demon 650 484 purple cam and Dons complete ignition system from www.4secondsflat.com...... stock rods, pistons, heads....

It would pull all the way up to 7200 RPM all day long no problem and I think there was more left in it......

Yea I'm with you on this Mad.. I have a 340 with a 509 Mopar cam with Hyd lifters, 750 Eddy, Complete MSD ignition, air gap intake, 3500 stall and my R's have been up to 7500 a few times and believe I had more to go but did not want to push it. 7200 like you said could run all day. You gotta love these small blocks....:cheers:
