Does or has anyone run stock rocker arms on small block Edelbrock heads ?
The plans are to switch to roller rockers later on.
I just had the heads sent off to get ported in Idaho by a guy who is on here. :burnout::burnout:

if you are running "Stock OEM" rockers..they fit...but with the increased spring pressure the eddy springs have...they have a tendency to poke a pushrod thru the rockers...

I have used the MP non adjustable rocker ..just like the stock ones but have increased material on the pushrod pad so they do not poke through....

stock ones will fit..

Port work by IQ52?

I will
Say if the cam is mild in lift, you'll be OK.

If your spending that kind of money on eddy heads and porting why not do it right the first time and not run the risk of damaging something?

If you're talking the stock stamped steel 1.5 rocker, i have ran them in a pinch with a .534 cam and a dual spring with 300 lbs open seat pressure. They showed their age after a couple thousand, easy driving miles. I'm sure the magnum rockers are a little stronger. I wouldn't risk it tho.

Yes IQ52 is porting them. It is not going to be a long term ordeal. I know it has been done before. I just wanted to here peoples exp. Thanks
