Im going to ditch the original AFB and 273 4BBL intake for a 570 CFM Street Avenger and a this intake..
I hope so, about 600 bucks to do the swap. Looking for a smoother idle. Will put up original 4295s AFB and 66 Cast iron 4BBL intake for sale was soon as I make sure my new stuff will fit under hood. I am pretty sure it will.
I agree this Dart seems to be a money pit. but I have driven it about 250 miles since I put it on the road, NOT on the road now, redoing some things. :banghead::banghead:Yikes on the 600 bones.. But still sounds like a good idea...

So true...I will say tho, it is a good running Teener. Just the idle is not what I would think it should be. But it is a hobby for me, and I enjoy wrenching on my cars.never friggin' ends does it!?
Here you go Mitch. A little minor league Nats stuff...

That it is! Other wise just buy a car completed! I think it might be less expensive that way! That's most of the fun , Aint it ?

I agree, I love cruising down the coast this time of year, and the looks I get. Around here there are LOTS of nice old cars. The Car **** post is all from near me.to some degree... but the going for a ride thing is WAY up there too!!

Even doing everything myself, right down to the upholstery, paint, it still is expensive. It might be that I am a perfectionist. I like what I have done, then later I say, I could do that better!I always say, If you can't do it yourself, or have really deep pockets, Don't get involved in the Hobby. I got a guy with a 70 Hemi RR , I just looked at, and it's got a collapsed #6 int lifter. Dead Miss. Guy does'nt have a clue mechanically, and can't afford to fix it right now. Said he was gonna take it home and let it sit until later , or Sell it.
Sweet.. Is that the Son?
This guy sounds like my brother. I cant believe we came from the same parents. He has very little mechanical aptitude. But he has deep pockets, so he buys what he wants.I always say, If you can't do it yourself, or have really deep pockets, Don't get involved in the Hobby. Well while we are on the subject.. I can do allot myself as long as my body will let it.............
I just can not pull on a ratchet anymore, so I am lucky to have great friends and two strong 30+ year old sun's.
Not a perfectionist unless it is a life or death thing like fishing, planting and showing off in front of my wife...
This did get dun, for the coffee crews eyes only :glasses7:
