Stop in for a cup of coffee

Never a dull moment here in Vietnam. This morning I opened up the front of her Shop and walked out front. Walked back and forth a couple of times, looking at the street and who's coming and going. Then I look down and I see this..WTF!!!! Damned thing was about 4" long.I don't know why but at first I thought it was a kids toy or something or some gag. Damn thing could have bit me. I wasn't paying attention. So I grabbed a broom and went to sweep it into the street. That's when it perked up. So I swepted it into the street and stood there for about 10 minutes to watch it get about 3/4 of the way across the street before a motorbike crushed it. LOL

I've BBQed in a parka numerous times, but there is usually an important reason to do so. Feeding 150 people at a spiritual retreat fer instance :lol: Or fund raising for a charitable institution :lol:

We got scorpions as well, plus possum on the half shell. Goofy dog got a very stinky shell stuck in her collar and needed a bit of help to extract. Only a Mal could pull this off.

I have needed one a few times. Thinking getting a smoke machine like the ones used at parties. Marketplace +/-$30 is way easier to tolerate.
 
This morning Lynda had a makeup artist come to the shop and do makeup for her. Then she dressed to the hilt. She is going up to Binh Duong, about an hour away, to do a photo shoot with the company she sells beauty products for. They use her photos in most of their ads. I elected not to go. I am at a cafe drinking iced coffee and reading a book. Will join her later this afternoon.

Need some prayers for my niece. Here's part of a message ftom my sister. "She has breast cancer and is starting treatment. Kahla has to have the strongest chemo. The red devil. Because the cancer was over the limit in size compared to a lesser size. 16 rounds then radiation." Damn cancer!

Prayers
 
I took the relo bracket for the MC to my machine guy yesterday. He will press out the threaded rod and tap the holes for me. I will see how that works. I may also have him put it on the lathe and shave the width down some to give me more room between it and the driver-side valve cover.
