When I first started my car I was looking at those, In hindsight I wish I had done it. You can get a crossmember from them with Mustang2 gear and rack in different track widths to work with it.

I'd just have Gerst build one. But im thinking of that if the polara is as bad as I fear. as frame rails for those are extremely difficult to find.
 
I am looking around for charts with recommended curves, not sure how to figure out what is needed in a HP engine, the stock ones are easy to find.

HP engines usually need a higher idle (over 1000 RPM), so you want a little stronger spring to keep the advance from coming in at idle (you don't want to use any of your curve up at idle...), then you want it to come in fast as the engine RPM's increase....

Experiment with different combos of light springs to see what they do to the curve...
