Stroker's aren't cheap, although I scored a 408 for $500. It's in a friend's 73 Road Runner.oof.. just adding stuff up... by the time this bottom end is done i will have like 6k into just the bottom end

bah.. yeah there is a complete Blueprint 408 near me for 4k... 20k miles on it though.. and i just need the bottom end
If i did a 408 using a cheap kit i would still end up around 3800for the bottom end
I look at the motor. Like Ice said, you're selling it. I'd do the sweat and material cost (and *** pain) of pulling and painting and keep that in your back pocket as a negotiation point if it comes to that
When it comes to mopar, nothing is cheap I have found. I should have put a 454 BB in the dart

I prefer body color but You did a nice job on yours and like I said before, I'd wish I had the money I'd buy that sweet ride.
Nothing with the Hemi is easy. I got the stuff from Mancini to replace MC and I have to modify that as well, not gonna work as is. I need to get the piece machined and tapped just to be able to use it.

It eats fuel pumps like chiklets though
Even the right (and correct) headlight bucket gives this old fart a sense of satisfaction. I asked on B Bodies and turbine68rt sent me one. Nice guy.

I need to remove the threaded studs and tap the holes for bolts, and I also want to machine some of the back to make the piece thinner.
I have 20,000 miles on my Blue Print 408 and it runs like a top. Never a problem. I drove it from North Dakota to Pennsylvania and back home and it loved it. Stopped in Chicago at rush hour traffic and did a downtown drive through and never a problem.
