Stop in for a cup of coffee

Another windy day.
Shop door weatherstrip is making farting sounds, its very annoying, but good cover in case i let one rip  Waiting for my brother to roll up, so i can get that done and on to more important things.

Ordered Tuesday... built and here by friday.... that's good service...
Also... surprised how nice this looks, and no welded on lugs, all done in a machined ring which i haven't seen before...

Bah.. bastards hit me with a 3% credit card fee :( didn't tell me bout that
You know how that goes. I jacked my prices up on the tool truck because of credit card fees. At the end of the year when you see the report, that 4-$5,000 would come in handy for paying bills or going on vacation.

in fairness i used a AMEX which charge twice as much as visa/mc... if they had warned me i woulda just used a visa

I only have a amex due to it being an amazon card.. 5% back on amazon purchases so now i buy 90% of my stuff from them for the business, i get 400-600 a month back in free points... i used it to buy the converter..

Passenger side of my car doesn't have a muffler hanger nut/bracket so i did the "midas" thing of a self drilling lag screw.. which stripped out.. ordered some riv-nuts.. never used them before.. hope they go in nice..

Just drill the right sized hole slightly larger than the nut body, Add the Nutsert to the tool and stick it in the hole. Squeeze the gun to compress. I think I squeezed the handle 4 or 5 times until the Nutsert is solid. Unscrew the tool and add your hanger. I bought a cheap kit from Harbor Freight and I didn't have high hopes that it would even work but it worked fine.

I don't know about the other manufacturers, but back then they used a lot of sheet metal screws. They were ok for a one shot deal but something like a voltage regulator or a ECU, after a few replacements, the screws fit in the holes like a saddle on a sow.

yeah.. mine worked one time then the second time i stripped it

I need to start working out or something... torque converter is only 40lb but feels like soo much more.... i just detest picking stuff up and setting it back down for no reason...

Just made another chin spoiler and waiting for it to dry in the mold.
I turned on the exhaust fan in the garage and the damn shop filled full of smoke from a local farmer burning his field. :BangHead: :mob:
