One of the volunteers from NY state would bring a slab - forget what the cut was called. We put fat on the barrels. My thinking was something is better than nothing as they were starting to show rust on the inside after 10 years of neglect. Hate to think what they look like now 20 years later stored in the vault.

What can be awkward is when a lady the age of your sons showes up and singles me out and says happy father's day and she looks like an old flame, glad my sugar britches was not there yesterday.

My sons a father and we all know how proud I am of him, and the work he has been doing on his 73 big block Charger, his 440 is getting punched out .20 or .30, can't remember. Maybe he will like my finds yesterday that was 175.00 for both.
