Chilly out on the patio here in BC.
Just hanging out, a little touring and more chillin. Theres a chance we may go for a trip to the mainland to visit Karl at Make it Kustom and hang out for a bit. That would make this trip worthwhile.

Mornin all. Been a while. No time to back read.
I really do need to get busy and get something done today. I want to start on the base trim over at the Downing house. If I can do 1 room a day I will be happy. No big rush but it needs to get done. It looks like I better write out some checks to pay some bills and get them sent out on time.
Been playing couch potato and figured I'd get something done today.

Exhaust fan is on and my shop still smells like a pickle factory.
Grabbed a bed sheet out of closet and works great for holding the vinegar in.
Glad I'm dot married because my wife would kill me for that.
I am sure it does, it will turn black and ready to be rinsed. I use it.. not that I like to, but it saves you from sanding and getting rust all over and out of your lungs , continue on.

It works great, I had bought a brake peddle for my 66 and I soaked it for two days I think, can you emagin sanding all those surfaces, and after sanding it still needs a washed, then you see you haven't got it all off, yep, vinegar works
yes and makes a hell of a dusty mess.
I did a small test area yesterday and let it set over night. Yep works great took the rust off except some deep pitted areas.
Saw that, shame it was a cool place. We are getting the smoke from it and the Black Canyon fire.

Our 20 year highschool reunion is this Saturday. Originally planning to go and bought tickets in February before we knew the kids 4H show got moved to the same day and time.
So I offered up my tickets last night for anyone that didn’t get them bought by the deadline. Lady that is organizing it messaged me.
Apparently my wife and I were getting a plaque and named reunion king and queen as we are by far the longest running highschool sweethearts still married…

Just got done taking the car off the trailer and putting stuff away..................taking a break from the heat. On a positive note didn't take long for the tent and tarps to dry out in the hot sun, to store them back away for next time.
