Stop in for a cup of coffee

Any one ever board a dog? I have to for the fishing trip she flips out being left alone for any amount of time. She came from a adoption that we found out afterward she was in a home for a week with two dead owners. Good dog except for that issue.
Dogs are pack animals, and boarding can be really tough on them, so I would recommend checking out https://www.rover.com/. We've had really good luck with it.

Once you find a good, local dog sitter (one that you trust and your dog likes), the issues will diminish considerably.

And if at first you don't succeed....

What does that run on the average? First time ever doing it so I have no idea.

I really don't know. I have an unusual situation. I found this guy who built a 10 dog kennel for his daughter and she charges $10 a night. She spends time with them. I doubt that you will find a deal like that. I think most are like $30

I usually just leave him with my nephew when I can. That's the case for this weekend because the Kennel was full when I called.

Harley would have gone on the boat. Amazing how dogs are different, same breeds also Lab/Boxer mix

Rates are set by the homeowner/dog sitter, if I understand it correctly (my wife takes care of all of this), and we pay $25/night, per dog, for a weekend stay. Don't know the daily or hourly rates, sorry.

Possibly He and Sara are not good together in the truck. They both fight for shotgun.

I think it's 40-50 a day, not cheap anywhere but if you find a good one your dog won't come back smelling like pee!
I had that issue with Gunner before he passed 3 years ago. For about 4 years, I had to find a way to have him looked after while I was gone for sometimes 5 months at a time. I was not coming out of pocket for 30 or 40 bucks a day for that length of time. I usually got a buddy from Church to come by here each day. Let him out and feed him and so forth. One year my oldest son took him to his house while I was gone. Worked out well. But I don't have that problem anymore. Kind of sad.....:(

we have but not very often. A good kennel here costs $70 a day here. My dogs always faired better when we they were able to stay with someone we know in the house as opposed to a kennel.
Speaking of Dallas, friends of ours are Debbie and Dallas but they didn't make **** movies.

That's a great situation! Neighbor across the street used to do same thing, also had an apple tree which was beneficial : )
Parts manager would hunt and bring in "treats". One time was duck that he cooked outside the parts room door. Gave us plates of food and said "watch out for the pellets". Never ate like that before but it was fun spitting them out. Another time, he and the parts driver leave with the van saying "I'll be right back". He had killed a deer over the weekend and it was hanging and draining in his garage. It was tossed in the van and the parts driver took it about 30 miles south to be processed. The driver comes back GREEN! I never want to do that again! But the venison jerky was delicious! Thanks Jack! RIP.
