Stop in for a cup of coffee

Kids had a blast though and it was pretty cool at times. Just wish there wasn’t so many damn people. The foreign visitors were just plain rude as hell.

All told, probably spent 3k on just Disney between tickets snacks and souvenirs. I have to add it up yet but that’s still under budget.

Seems like a lot but when you’ve not taken a vacation in 5 years plus while saving for the house build, it’s not as bad as it sounds

Yeah. For just one park. There’s like 3-4 I think total. Can get a “park hopper” “deal” at 349 a person for all the parks.
Not cheap but there's a lifetime of memories in 1 visit. Been to DW 4 times now and Universal a couple of times. I haven't been back to Universal since all the Harry Potter stuff which the wife and kids say is over the top.

Yeah that’s what you pay for, the memories m.’l

I have been to DW 3 times 25+ years ago and it was $40.
That’s been one of the biggest complaints in recent years. Yesterday may have been a fluke. But I also learned via social medial that Disney offered foreign travels docking from one of their cruises free entry yesterday, which spiked their attendance to a stupid level.

Otherwise, their attendance is way down. I was talking to one older lady who says she’s worked there since the early 2000s, said it’s dead most days . Only gets stupid busy like that when they offer those promotions and they’re almost always to the foreign cruises

Never been to DW only DL, remember trying to find out how to get to the restaurant you see on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride

I’ve been to both. Disney World is definitely better than Disney land, much bigger. But Disney land is far cheaper , similar rides. And seems to be able to handle the crowds better. Plus if you go on their military salute weekend, you can stay in the park up to 72 hours for the price of one day if your active military.
