HVAC I believe they said. If it's in a basement they should have dropped the duct down into the wall between the studs and box it in with a soffit.dryer vent? heat duct? squirrel escape hatch? woody woodpecker underground hideout?
A ever barking dumb dog has got nuthin on peacocks! And they are turfy, only plus side is coyotes here them as a buffet table bell. Man are they noisy. You better rethink that. They NEVER SHUT UP.....they go all night long and they are the loudest bird I have ever experienced in my life.
I couldn't tell if that was the top of a wall with a floor above or the top being a ceiling. either way, those holes have to do a fine job of weakening the board.HVAC I believe they said. I love chicory, it grows all over down here. It blooms in the high heat of summer when everything else is wilting. YummyThis morning's coffee mixture is pretty stout, as seen above. View attachment 1716474449
Normal is 2 Columbians to 1 French Roast.
I think the chickory in the cafe du monde adds 10 octane![]()
What part do you harvest, I always thought it was like from the bark or something, flower?I love chicory, it grows all over down here. It blooms in the high heat of summer when everything else is wilting. Yummy

I need to look around for coffee with Chicory. I don't remember ever tasting it.I love chicory, it grows all over down here. It blooms in the high heat of summer when everything else is wilting. Yummy
The rootsWhat part do you harvest, I always thought it was like from the bark or something, flower?
It is the tall stringy flower on the side of the roads down here in the south. It has a very distinct blue flower that blooms when it is just absolutely blister butt hot, mid summer. Almost zero leaves so thrives in drought conditions. Just looks like a stalk with a flower on top. What part do you harvest, I always thought it was like from the bark or something, flower?
I'd give it a go.The roots
Chock Full o' NutsI need to look around for coffee with Chicory. I don't remember ever tasting it.
Or maybe not, coulda been just the different roast that made it so different.Chock Full o' Nuts View attachment 1716474452 was perty good stuff
I recall it gaining popularity in the 70s... kinda went quiet after that (Except for C du M)I'd give it a go.
Chicory root (used in coffee)
- Flavor profile: Strong, earthy, and nutty with a slightly sweet and woody taste. It lacks the acidity of coffee but has a rich, bold flavor.
- Aroma: Smells like roasted coffee.
- Preparation: Typically roasted, ground, and brewed. The roasting process is key to transforming its flavor from bitter to a desirable, coffee-like quality.
