Burning electrical for sure. I have not opened it yet. Later.
If it's electrical, it could be almost anything: control board, transformer, main blower motor...

If you'd like some help diagnosing, before or after you find the burn, shoot me a PM with your number. I'm a commercial HVAC Service Tech stuck in an office chair now....but I'll be leaving around 1:30 (Central time) for a meeting this afternoon.

Thanks! Im thinking its a wire to one of the elements. Motor runs perfect without any noise. Both elements were new last year, its a 10k electric furnace.

Morning!
-16°,-25° with wind chill. Needless to say, weather dog wasnt out for long.
Better sleep last night,a little easier walking this morning. So i guess im going out to shop and take 10 steps backwards. Avalanche needs oil change, tire rotation and rear wheel well liners replaced. I only pulled them out in the spring.

Could be a heater element as well, as new parts for HVAC equipment is kind of like new parts for cars: Junk! (In my opinion....)

But thankfully, most installers should offer a one year parts warranty....

Sounds like you're on it, and Good Luck!
