my sophomore high school teacher drove a yellow GTX...well, he drove it to school and then his wife took it to her place of employment. He NEVER got on it that we saw, was replacing mufflers every other year. He said they rotted out due to the short driving distance. One morning, before the mufflers were to be replaced, as his wife was rounding a corner and just as the car straightened out, she PUNCHED it! Man, that sounded great and I thought her husband was gonna get whiplash! Thanks for waking up the memories and putting a smile on my face. :)

Ultimate freak...one of Plymouth’s 1970 Rapid Transit System Caravan show cars, a 1970 hemicuda....the 4th Hemi Cuda built and story is it just changed hands for over $2 million dollars....been hiding for 30+ years in a pile of garbage....can’t wait to see more of it

Another cool one, although very similar it’s not the RTS Cuda but I think this one is hiding yet....that’s a fake blower set up....think this is known as the “Sonic” Cuda

I work with a guy who's neighbors nephew is the one who discovered, rescued and bought the car. He is just an average Joe just outside of Detroit. I know he didn't pay no where near 2 million dollars. They are all heavily involved with the Detroit Autorama for over 50 years so they know everyone in the show car circuit.

I Noticed some variations in the paint schemes on the RTS Cuda, not sure if there was more than one show car built or if they just changed its appearance. Also the one picture it has the 440 call out on the rear roof pillar....still cool and can’t wait to learn more
