Streetability????

Can you guys share your YouTube channels? I’d be intrigued.

And love both sides of the coin talk. My car has never been fast. When it had 2.76s I drove it from MO to IN. That was awesome. Now with 3.92s I hate to leave town but love the street lights! Still streetable but not travelable lol. Someday I’d like a gear vendor and all that. But not at this time.
Here is mine.

mine is my name 318willrun. Expect very little.... lol

in the summer it can get in the upper 90's here. the dart would stay cool at 100* temps.

how far do i drive? last year we did a week long 5000 mile road trip in the dart. cannonballed it home.. 1800 miles in two days. about 18 hours drive the first day and finished it off the second day.. this year we will be doing another road trip to the smokies.. not near as far as last year but i'm sure that will be over a thousand miles when all is said and done.. this weekend (if the waether holds out) we will be doing a 2 hour trip to a delership in PA for a mopar show.. on a more regular basis the car just cruises around town.. the point though, is at any given time it can hit the road for a 1000+ miles..
Us too... we travel across states. Went on a 4,000 mile trip across 9 states in a '77 RC in 2018. Traveled a lot of 1000 mile trips. Here, there, you know... We'll keep on keep'n on too !!!

agree :D:lol:
Nah, I don't do much youtube, but I have checked out your channel and you do a great job explaining how to do things.
I really liked the degreeing a cam without a wheel video, although everything you present is very informative.

I'd like to see you drop a 440 in one of them Dusters. It doesn't need to be anything special for you to do your budget steps with it.

It's down to one Duster now, because we sold one. If I go 440 in the Duster, it will be special. If I'm going to stuff the crust, it's going to be tasty... LOL

Another example of streetability is my middle son's 85 D100 longbed. It has a 360 Magnum with the MP R/T heads, mid 10s compression ratio, Delta regrind cam 232/232 @ .050 575/575 lift on a 112 lobe sep. We have made 4 hour trips with it very comfortably. We pulled our 2 axle trailer when we moved, loaded with household stuff on the trailer and a loaded bed. The only thing I do not like about it is it has a TCI loosey goosey converter. My 8" is night and day better.

Anyhow, it is his daily driver. I would not hesitate to go across country even on the interstate in it.

I guess we all like our little grocery getters...

Nice pickup!! Is that yours? Any idea what the color code is?
Thank you, yes it's mine.. W1 i think is the code, but it's spinnaker white..
The white on the frame, it's just the clear coat. Its in it's raw form before it goes in to be baked for the final time...

I know Mopar Sam has been working on the engine for that truck for quite a number of years now and i'm really glad to see he's enjoying it... i know he did a lot of the machine work himself.... So it makes it extra special....
I always thought the machine work and the components and the arrangement for mopar Sams engine sounded like a kick in the butt...

I like that white. I think it looks great. Clean truck overall too!

Back in the day I bought a GER 3500. I think I overfilled the tranny 3x trying to get it to back up out of the driveway... LOL...

One of the weak spots in the 904, kinda surprised an aftermarket converter didn’t address it. Might have not been the converters fault, pump gear could have help kill it.
