Thanks to Challengergary for the helpful "How to do guide" and the strips I did it today took the little lady and I about 1 1/2 hours. What do you think???

That should work. You'll be able to tell later when you put on your door handles. The spacing between the handle and the tape my vary but if you are disatisfied with it just take a small knife and trim it to suit ya. Dont press hard as you will cut the paint. I always start from the door handle and go both ways. You may have done that. It looks good. Who's the goon putting em on for ya. LMAO Just jerkin with ya.
