Nice...Now you need to stuff Mopars new 392 SB Hemi into that bad boy...

Hot Rod just dynoed the new crate engine, and it made 562 peak HP (they only rate it for 510).

yeah, the bunch o bananas will look good in there wont it? i had fun playing with the pro paint shop 8 program also.
id love the 392 hemi in there, that thing is an LS7 fighter, but the 6.1 will already run me close to $8000 alone, the 392 will be $11- $13000. i could do it, but itd make getting my car on the road even longer. the sad thing is ive never even got to drive my car so the more go fast goodies i add the longer it will be. that said if i won the loto thats what would go in my car.

funny you should mention the little blurb in Hot ChevRod magazine about the 392 hemi dyno test. Even though it proves that the new hemi will run with and better than the chevy LS engine, they still only give press to the chevy product. funny how some things never change even though the automotive press is saying we shouldn't have brand loyalty anymore, they are still loyal to the chevy crap. And have you noticed, whenever they do a mopar article, they always point out how much it costs but this exotic, expensive LS-7 crap never gets any claims of being overly expensive even though it is.

yeah, the 392 is getting LS7 hp but with 6.4 liters instead of the LS7s 7.0 hmmmmmmm.i remembering reading articals about the "new" hemi a few years back. the artical said chrysler claimed this new hemi with 345 cubes was punched out as far as it could go so it could not be bored any more..whink whink. so far the 6.1 seems to be doing fine, well have to see how the 6.4 does i guess, but seems to me chrysler was playing some games.

I think it was Pontiac years ago that had one block that started around 250ci`s and through the years by boring and stroking it, they ended up at
455ci. I bet that Hemi will go a little more! Nice Dodgenut, makes ya`a little anxious when that engine sits down in there, huh?

yeah Bill at RMS says its tight, but the new hemis will fit in an early a-body. actually i should have scaled down the engine a little more, it looks a little big, but really i just wanted to see what it would look like inside my engine bay. it will be a dream come true when the real engine is sitting in my dart. until then i have a thousand other things to buy for my car.
