Sugar feeds cancer

-
No doubt about it..alcohol and sugar are poisons, pure and simple. They are glamourized by their industry for obvious reasons, are addictive and difficult to get off because they give pleasure. Most pleasure food is processed and is the same. A garden is your best friend or at least real food from the grocery. It is nutritious and can taste "good" but won't be delicious and you won't overeat.

The order in which you eat food can affect bs levels also.

You know a shitload about BS...

So that example alone should tell John Q. Public that something is not right... But the typical person makes no connection and just goes along in life, getting imbibed with med after med because the doctor told them to, and then asking themselves why they're so sick...
Yep. I’m not anti medicine, I’m anti over medicine. I went and got a second opinion, that original order of 5 different meds, became just prescription strength Tylenol to deal with the migraines and special UV eye glasses (not tinted like sunglasses) to deal with the bright lights inside my office. It’s helped.

I wonder if the companies making those testosterone bumps are in bed with the prostate cancer drug companies.

Every dude i knew that got prostate cancer was having their testosterone reduced in some way. Apparently the cancer loves it.

Yet we have these advertisements that prey upon men by chiding them gently with “are you not able to get it up?” These companies would rather you take their “supplement” that feeds your future prostate cancer, than find a healthy, natural way to boost your energy level.

I don't know if sugar feeds cancer? but it isn't healthy. If want to check labels
I think 4 grams of sugar is about a teaspoonful. Most soft drinks have around
48-52 grams of sugar...12 or 13 spoonfuls of processed sugar per can.

Luckily I don’t have that problem haha

All the foods people are talking about here are not even foods (Red Bull, Sweet Tea, Soda, garbage, garbage, garbage). Has anyone here read the ingredients in a loaf of bread from the store?? If it smells like chemicals when you open the bag, it can't be healthy... Looking at the methods of logic in this thread it appears that these are all older people talking, because they still place trust in foods that were healthy in the past... Well, they're not now, due to new chemicals and ultra processing. With the never-ending technology put into foods, you would think that humans now would be healthier and more powerful than ever! But no, it's just the opposite, 90% of people are overweight, alot are morbidly obese. And I'll bet that anyone reading this thread knows a person or people with cancer.... What gives???? Doesn't anyone see the correlation between ultra processed food and the downward spiral of the health of Americans??
i just saw a commercial on TV last night pushing prescription weight loss medicine for people too lazy to actually want to lose weight and exercise to lose it... It's very scary what is being pushed into the faces of Americans as being good for you. But what's even more scary is the people that are believing their doctors, food ads, and pharmacutical companies to think this is all normal...
After my February afib episode, of course, they made a bunch of appointments for follow up visits. On May 1st, one doctor said my cholesterol (234) needed to come down quickly and prescribed a statin. I thought "Let me try foods first". I looked up foods to reduce cholesterol quickly. Oatmeal, apples, and walnuts were listed first. That is now my breakfast. Occasionally if I get hungry around noon I may eat more oatmeal or a sandwich of 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, a slice of tomato, and maybe ½ of an avacado. Avacado and beans were on that list. Around 5pm, I have a big salad with both iceberg and green leaf lettuce, a big tomato, a generous amount of diced onion, an avacado, ½ can of black beans, and 3 or 4 tablespoons of chunky salsa.
I decided to check my weight also. I lost a pound a day for the first 3 weeks, then the weight loss slowed but I'm down 30 lbs total now from 186 to 156, all since May 1st. And after more bloodwork in late June, my cholesterol had dropped to 171. I never touched the statins.
Whey protein was also on that list. I wasn't sure what to think about something so processed but I tried it and noticed it made my wrists and knees ache just like beef or milk. I had learned from Dr Joel Furhman (he can be found online or on youtube) that animal products feed inflammation in your body. It is true for me. Almost the only thing I ever drank was coffee with plenty of milk in it. The caffiene was not good for my afib, so I quit completely (that's the only I miss ocassionally).
I actually feel much better now.

And yes, I suppose I fit in the older category. I'll be 70 in November.
I realize that even what I eat has chemicals from fertilizers to pesticides and probably some pollution mixed in.
I tried raised bed gardening a couple of years ago. Yeah, I guess I raised a bunch of healthy insects. I actually did get some good veggies from it but it's not cheap or without a lot of work. I may get back in to it next spring.

Dang! And i thought that putting one spoon of honey or sugar in my breakfast tea was overdoing it.

Fasting is a given. This is a mopar board. If you want slowing, go hang out with the ford guys.
Those 5.0 mustangs were strong running cars in their day. Mopar sure didn't have anything to compete with them

True, true, true! I had a good friend named Gary. We were friends since high school. When I retired from the Air Force in 1993, we re-established our friendship. Our wives got along well, so we did a lot of stuff together. Gary and I went to lunch together once a week for many years. Then he started acting weird and saying crazy stuff. He spent most of his spare time on the internet. He talked himself into believing all kinds of crazy crap; and he REALLY believed that crap. We didn't go to the moon, the American government took down the World Trade Center buildings, the world might be flat (he was researching it), and my favorite - the white contrails behind a jet high in the air was definitely mind control drugs. He also fell hook line and sinker for homeopathic medicine. All the sudden, regular doctors were garbage, and only his precious homeopathic doctors were any good. Oh, and he got hooked into a very weird religion too; and I do mean weird. It got to the point where every time we went to lunch, all he wanted to do was argue about why his weird beliefs were right, and mine were all wrong. Eventually, I had to walk away from him. He got colon cancer and refused Chemo. He tried to treat it with his homeopathic medicine. He did daily coffee enemas and ate a very strict veggy diet. The cancer got worse. Then he went to a 'special' clinic in Texas where a specialist re-aligned the magnetic field within his body. "Because your body can't heal itself if the magnetic field is misaligned." The cancer got worse. Then he went to a clinic somewhere in Canada where they did all kinds of crazy homeopathic medicine things to him including injections of mistletoe juice. The cancer got worse, and he died. I agree that there are a lot of good things about natural medicine, but not like that.

Those homeopathic folks are some to watch out for. My eldest boy is a type 1 diabetic, and this joker said with diet and exercise he could reverse it.... I looked at him dead in the eye, told him he didn't know **** about diabetes other then what he saw on TV, which is almost always about type 2, and to never, ever look at my son again. ******* moron.

It is, if the tea is already a sweet tea.

If i were English, I'd tell you to stop being such a cunt. But since I'm not, i won't do that because that's not in my common vernacular.

What were my exact words? "Breakfast tea." I did not say ,"sweet tea."

It's no damn wonder you don't have a car. You look for every damn possible excuse to shoot down everything you come across.

Dude, just stop it..

Sorry for the derailment folks.

It took me about a month to feel better than i had in years after i severely curtailed my sugar intake. I don't even enjoy candy anymore. It's amazing.

Now, i just need to cut my milk intake. And get back down to around 170 lbs.

I have never felt better in my life than when i was off sugar for about 8 months... just amazing... i can't seem to break the addiction again though. Horrible ****.

Yup.. i revered type2... i am shocked someone would even say you can reverse type1 though...

Although! We are close... a person is now making their own insulin after gene therapy.. which is amazing

yeah, people are stupid sometimes.

As far as GT, they are definitely making progress but that has it's own risks, but it is promising. Just way too many variables at this time.
