Suspension Question

I am getting ready to put my TTI headers in my Scamp and I need a little help.
According to TTI, I'm to take the ball joints lose from the drag link at the pitman arm and the left tie rod. Also move idler arm aside. My question is, is it easier to do this work with the weight still on the suspension or just hanging while on jack stands?

Its been my experience to have the car up on stands. You're fishing the headers up from the bottom so you'll need the room to do that from underneath the car.The control arms aren't going to be a problem, but you will need to get the drag link out and have the ability to move the idler and pitman arm around as needed to get the headers up to the heads.
