Sway Bar Diameter 72 340 Duster

Im needing to order the front neoprene bushing on the sway bar that are triangular shaped to replace these worn out ones. What is the factory Sway Bar Diameter for a 72 Duster 340

I probably shouldn't reply here but I dont think there was more than one diameter sway bar available for A-body. The only one I know of is 5/8 or 3/4 maybe, I forget. skinny little bar that aint much but better than nothing.

There is a larger bar under 73 up A-body but it doesn't use the triangular bushings

i might have a brand new bushing set for that if ya give me till this evening to go through my parts...

I just measured a 67-72 bar and it is right at 7/8th thick.

you should measure your sway bar, as there were 3 different diameter sway bars used on A bodies.

the one on the front of my duster is 1 1/8"...stiffer than a weddin' pecker

I'm thinking about trying a 7/8" to soften it up a tad.......that means a 1" will be about perfect

those are the exact bushings that i have brand new...for a 7/8" sway bar. to the Original Poster of this thread, if ya want em, 8 bucks shipped....
