Long time since last visit here.
I am finally up and running.
Done some more fiber glass details.
Trunk lid , fenders , doors and replaced all glass for lexan.
The weight is down at 2800 pounds.
It’s a 318 with ported Magnum heads. I followed a
Magnum head porting for the beginner by
@'63GT and got 255 cfm out of them. It’s my second attempt porting heads. I made a thread on porting J-heads couple of years ago and they also flowed 255
Porting small block 915 j-heads , Hughes springs and retainer kit ,Voodoo 703 cam. China Air Gap , Brawler 670 carb , home made fenderwell headers.
Prepped 904 with low first gear and manual valve body. Narrowed 8 3/4 4.10.
Made a new set of wheels 4 1/2” in the front and 10” in the back.
Currently running 245’s in the back but…
It’s fun but I can hardly come off the line in 1:st gear. It just spins
Have made a new set of wheels with better backspace. I can now run 295’s.
