I love the sound of this Dart, my hat is off to the builder...

X2 Split duals is the key. (and a nice little cam in there)

That does sound good at idle. Slants lose the nice sound in my opinion when accelerated but each too their own.

No, split duals ain't wut does it. Badassary is wut does it. lol

Oh and the guy with the gold car is a pretty active member over on slantsix.org. Nice guy. I think he's a member here too.

I must admit I am the complete opposite. I am most impressed by a neighbor's 50's Pontiac straight-8 that you can barely tell the engine is idling. We were once given a new V-8 Mustang rental since all they had besides a trunkless econo-box (reserved a compact). We returned it and swapped it for a Jap sedan after a day. Our daughter was cramped in the back seat and couldn't see out the window, but worst was even slight use of the accelerator gave a roar and seemed other drivers glanced at me like I was a dum-a$$ kid. Perhaps just a fake engine sound from a speaker in the cabin like some new sports cars use, but seemed stupid to me to get so much noise when driving moderately.

I have ta say that Slant does sound good....... even when he "romped" on the throttle linkage a little it still sounded good!

BAD *** Slant 6 you betcha!

I just wonder with the intake, what sort of HP that gives that 225?

mine has a split header full duals with glasspacks and a 390 carb...has a nice v8 rumble at idle and sounds great on the highway
