Not to get into Politics but is that not what Elon Musk is trying to avoid. WASTE!!!!!

I called Bergman Auto today, spoke with Peter, he’s a nice guy.
He is supposed to be putting an invoice together for me that includes
—Classic Auto Air with all necessary brackets
—Suspension components (shocks, torsion bars, control arms, tie rods)
—Power Steering with all necessary steering linkage, pitman arm and idler arm.
Trying to remember if there is anything else I need…
I was in between patients when I called and couldn’t remember the names of certain parts for the life of me so he probably thought I was even more of an idiot than I really am.

Oh my new to me console that @72Dart6pack found for me near him and shipped to me… it was lost shipping… I guess I may be back to square 1 with fixing the one I have and buying new top plates.
My son keeps saying seafoam green or the “silver blue” color, wife says the copper color or blue or what ever she doesn’t care.
Went to Auto66 automotive paint today, got some spray paint to sample on some car parts. B3, B6, Q4 and Got a cool orange color but not the 2005 Viper Copperhead color, I forgot to ask until I left. Oh well, this will do for a fun weekend.
Will be getting my order from Bergman placed and paid for next week.
Just waiting on painter and have to find an engine guy to build my 400 into something a little more exciting than a stock 400 pig motor…

my console came in! It had a touch of damage on it on the back side, just added a touch of plastic bond and painted it… it is driving my OCD crazy, I really want to sand the entire thing down and try to make it “perfect,” but I don’t know if I’ll get it perfect…
Also painted some test strips. All of the colors are cool, Q4 Seafoam Green is awesome, it would be cool if it was a touch darker. The orange color I got is also pretty dang cool, I bet we will end with one of those. Rose was having fun. There is no clear on the tins yet because I lost power at the house before it was dry enough to paint.

try another seafoam test but prime with black not grey, it may well darken the green a bit.

Wiper pivots done, have no clue where this little white felt bushing thing goes… I’ll save it, maybe goes on the wiper motor.
think it goes in the ball socket pivot to hold lube in

I should have said I have not a clue what the ball socket pivot is lol.
They all looked the same to me and there was no felt bushing anywhere when I took it apart.
Hey Doc! 50 odd years ago, I was a number crunching nut and bolt perfectionist (not case!), I finally morphed into a guy that wants NO AC, or power anything, NO radio, just a good honkin motor, 1 trans, 1 rear end and 1 bench seat (maybe 2 buckets...maybe)!!!!!
Anything else is FLUFFF!!!!!!

I see you got the whole "PIT" crew working.
Pretty much the exact same.
They have to earn their keep. Plus it was something fun for us to do together, especially during the 50 year floods we have had today.

surround cameras ,heat and cooled and messaging seats ect.
The worst is when you get out to your vehicle and you forgot to grab your key and put it in your pocket.
I won’t ever buy another daily driver without a heated steering wheel, those are gods gift to driving in the cold.
