My little girl will get here training wheels off this spring so i need a bike to ride with her, wife just wanted me to get a wally world bike, but that won't do!!! This started as a 60's Ross cruiser, i stretched it out about 3" and raked the neck to about 50* Should be fun if i don't break my neck.

Yes helmet for sure, horn, headlight, I'm actually going to use some nice triple tree forks with disc brakes, forks will probably be even a few inches longer.

Guys, remember 1 thing.....

Dad's bike always has to be bigger, better and faster than the kid's bike.

Update for those interested, Going with a metallic orange paint, should be done in about a month.

Dude, that is sweet, did you buy those forks?

Yes mail ordered the forks, they are 42" long. Just a standard chain for power. I grew up in the 70's and had choppers and a manta ray, wife thinks i lost my mind LOL

Makes me think maybe I should get busy and restore/fix my bike. Cna't remember the make and model but it has a three speed hub that is dated 1970. Its a crate bike knockoff.

Thats cool coffeedart67, complete with suicide shifter. I pretty sure thats a Raleigh Chopper.

looks like a Raleigh, I'm going to try a small leather seat, but may try a big banana with sissy bar later, but i think a small seat would look best with this narrow frame chopper

I'll have to trudge through the mud and check but I think the brand is Fleetwing, and its a Jetstar Super Deluxe model, I tired researching it a few years ago and couldn't find much other than they were made in Germany (I think) and sold through Fields(I think) stores.

I have head of those. Even rarer. Here is a pic I found doing a google search. This is a 1971 Tigercat. Thanks for the correction.
