Does anyone know anything about teak decking?

The house we bought has a teak deck and it is grey and weathered looking. When it gets wet from a rain it has a beautiful color to it and I want bring back its natural color. The people working at the local home improvement stores know nothing about teak and I cant seem to find a lot about how to revive it online. Other than boating sites and that seems to be different than a house deck. So if anyone knows about teak decking and how to bring it back to life please let me know.

You can pressure was the "gray" away, without even using a detergent. Then find a good water proofer, sealent.

Be careful, brands like Thompson are formulated to turn gray over time. Find a sealer that does not turn gray, and sheds water, too.

I did already pressure wash the entire deck and it removed a lot of the grey and the color was awesome after I did it. But when the water dried out it looked grey again.

On the boat we oil the teak.

I looked at teak oil but the stuff we looked at said not to use on decks.

I used this stuff on my boat,, it's great,, expensive but restores the beauty of the wood..

Thanks, I'll look into this stuff.
