TF904 Slip Yoke 7290

hey guys! great to have the site up again!

so my q is where to get a slip yoke for a TF904 (68 later trans) with the 7290 joint...

i upgraded the yoke on the 8.75 so i figured i might as well do that to as im goin to have a drive shaft made...

thx guys...

thats what doctordiff seemed to think to... and the 727's were a different spline right?

Get the mancini, the dennys is china.

No factory 904 with 7290 series...

You should have went to 1330 or 1350 series if you were upgrading, detroits been long gone for over 15 years.

If i was you i would do the 1310/30 or 50 series slip yoke

Oh and only get the mancini if it is REALLY like the one pictured which is a MW design....otherwise if it isn't $30 then leave that china pos and keep your 7260 and upgrade the joint to a spl series and don't worry about it

a 1330 is kinda over kill for a slant six (factory 7260) lol...

but yea, i'll give Mancini a call and check it out

A quality 7260 setup will take a serious beating. I use solid Spicers on just about everything.

What does the shaft have 7260 ? or 7290?

I use the cross-over u-joints 7260-7290,never had a problem with them.Tossing loads of torque at launches.
