We were discussing shop heat a few weeks ago and I bragged up my gas wall mount radiant heater. Well last week the thermostat went out on it and it wouldn’t shut off so I had to turn it off every evening and restart it the next morning. Then this week the pilot wouldn’t stay lite so I researched a new thermocouple and it looked like it was going to be close to 50.00 and I wasn’t sure it was the right model and would fix all my issues. So yesterday I called Rural King to see if they had any in stock. They did so I took the 70 mile round trip to get one. This one didn’t have the fan option and they are now set up for both propane and gas with two regulators. So I unmounted my old one and installed the fan and now have heat again. Johnnys knees don’t handle 50 degrees well so I’m a happy guy again. Great 200.00 investment. I’ll leave the cover off for a few hours to make sure all is well then put it on.
