Ok what early A car had the chrome trim option on it that went where you would rest your arm with the window rolled down and all the way back to the rear Pillar? I had a door that had the holes drilled for it(on the outside trim.) but have never seen how it looks. anyone got a picture? it isn't a 66 dart gt for sure but I haven't seen enough early A's to be sure exactly what year.
thanks

The Barracuda or Valiant Signet had a thin stainless trim (about 1/2" wide) up real close to the windows

:cheers:AWESOME, thanks just what I was looking for!

can you get a picture of the rear window so I can see how the trim goes ? I'm thinking that I like it a lot and might add it to mine if the rear piece doesn't get to stupid looking and I can blend it into the transition piece for the convertible.. It might look gaudy (already have a piece about 1 1/2 inch down the door)but I won't know till I get the pieces and test fit em or at least get a pics of the whole door /quarter window opening.

Heres a couple pics of my 66 Valiant Signet convertible showing the trim piece, and a closeup of the transition piece that changes that trim to the snap channel. Also included is a pic of my hardtop with the qtr window to show the differences between the 2 for you!! Geof

hmmm Dang mine goes DOWN about 1 1/2 inch and transitions to the Dart GT trim.. yeah that would look awesome if I didn't have a gt setup. looks like I just add more clear coat to that area to make it a little tougher so I don't rub the paint off

hmmm maybe if I can get 4 front door pieces I can blend it into the transition piece....
on second thought "nope" to busy looking or ugly with that much going on in that small area. dang!
