At the age of 59, I bought my first two pedal car, not that I really had a choice. Even worse, it is my second Ford in a row. My beloved Focus RS got taken out by a genius doing 50 mph on ice covered road. For reasons known only to the brain trust, they no longer sell them here, so needing AWD, I had to settle on a Fusion SE. the least expensive non-Subaru out there. Ugh!

Find a cheaper Subie! (although this example is probably asking more than a used Fusion SE)

A guy on my bowling team has an AWD Charger that has a Hemi in it. Not sure what year it is but they are out there. Quick search shows that it might be a 2014. Why The Dodge Charger R/T AWD Might Be The Greatest All-Around Muscle Car: - Mopar Insiders
My "winter beater" is an 08 awd charger (only a 3.5 though)
Best automotive investment I ever made
Pushing 160k and all I replaced is an O2 sensor, two CV boots, a set of plugs, oil and tires
Oh, and the fuel door, since it rotted out
Best part is, I bought it in 09 for 10K
I could probably sell it for that today

If they made an AWD V-8 Challenger in 2019/2020 I would have bought one. I have no use for a V-6 in a car that big/heavy.

Settled for one of the last 3.6R Subaru Legacy AWDs. Pretty nice car, and certainly feels faster than that '19 AWD V-6 Challenger did. The weight just kills that thing.

I absolutely love my 2016 392 Charger. The only thing that it really needs is a manual transmission. Thanks to @MrJLR for the Challenger thread last summer which got me off my butt to go drive both these fun cars. There were hardly any of the Sassy Grass color out there. The shorter wheel base on the Challenger just made it too squirrelly.

My 305hp V6 Challenger is averaging 26mpg!

Jeff

The computer says I am averaging about 21mpg, but that's a lie. I think it's closer to 15mpg.

It's incredibly difficult to keep my speed equal to the other cars.
