The King himself Richard Petty will be in Phoenix on Saturday November 12th, and everyone is encouraged to attend this event. This will take place at:

Window World
4844 S. 40th St.
Phoenix, AZ 85040
3pm to 5pm

A great customer of ours, whom we just finished up a full restoration of his 77 Chevy C10 pickup, was the lucky winner of a brand new, built to his specifications, Richard Petty Superbird! Based off of the new Challenger! Well, Richard is going to deliver the car in person to him! We were invited to attend the unvailing and were encouraged to invite people who we felt would enjoy this event. So, I wanted to extend the invitaion to my FABO family! Everyone is welcome to bring their Mopar to this event as there will be plenty of parking available. Please post here if you will be able to attend the event. Thanks!

Damn! That would be pretty neat. I will see if I have anything planned.

that would be pretty cool! ill have to check to see if any thing is going on that weekend

Wish I,d known with more advance, cause I would,ve sent you my glove box door for the KING to sign.
It's over a month away! I would have no problem getting that done for you. I plan on having him sign the dash in my swinger while he his here.

Just put it on the calendar here BA71. Thx for the invite...See 'ya there :) 8)

I love this guy! I would love to see this guy in his prime against todays drivers.

Time to bump this up for more exposure. Hopefully he'll be hanging out for awhile

Here are some pictures from the event yesterday. It was an awesome time! Got to hang out with C and her husband while we waited for Richard to arrive. He drove the car in!! He is a very nice man, and it was an honor to meet him.

You had a great turn out. Who got the Bird?
These folks here. The car is amazing looking in person. The final dyno numbers were 760hp at the wheels with over 600tq. All from an Arrington built 426 stroker and a Magnuson supercharger. The thing is a BEAST! Upgraded coilover suspension and GIGANTIC brakes. Jim and his wife and damn lucky!
