1959 Dodge Sierra - $1500 (Troy)

For Sale , rare 1959 Dodge Sierra wagon. 413, 4 barrel v-8 push button automatic , motor turns over. The car has been sitting since 1985. The car is very complete but needs complete restoration or use as parts or rat rod. Has some rust in rockers and quarters. Don't miss out on your chance to own the original family truckster.

Yep, There still hasn't been a better family vehicle than the old Stations Wagon, although the minivans come pretty close.

..............Nice old wagon..............The dam General stole another name from Mopar......sierra, suburban, vortec, how did that happen?..............kim.........

Mopar decided those names are second rate so GM scooped them up...

Like the wagon, would be a pretty cool cruiser.

Is that the original engine I wonder? I was not aware the 413 was produced that early.

The 59 Chryslers came with the 413 wedge instead of the 58's 392 Hemi's so they were around.I didn't know you could get one in a Dodge that year but it likely would have been an option,at least in the US.

I saw this 59 for sale here in B.C. last summer:

OK. Cool. I knew there was the one year only 350 in 58. But I didn't know the 413 was as early as 59. Thanks.

It's either a 383 or a 361 if it's the original engine, the 413 wasn't available in a Dodge that early.

I know I sound like a broken record but if it was closer it would be sitting in my driveway. Around here they'd be asking $10k for it.

someone's been trying to sell this one for at least 2years. now down to $2000. Canadian now.
about 42,500 visits on "kijiji" Windsor and no buyer yet.
