Sorry to ask this but can you do a rough drawing of what you wrote, lol.
I'm having a hard time visualizing that
In layman's if you were to cut and put a hard seat in ..you just go straight up from that and round it at the top. That's what I mean.
In that example it easy to plow out the bowl,venturi size. In reality you can shape the bowl differently/smaller and get similar results.

One of the best lessons in SSR is right in Mopar's backyard. Compare the 516 intake port SSR to that of the 906. Mopar raised the floor at the short turn in the 906 for better flow, compared to the abbreviated SSR of the 516 & earlier heads.

And you lay that back 2/3 the length of the port to about a finger width from the push rod bulge.
