Good stories. The 43 jr Barracuda is actually sitting in a junkyard in NC. It's been there for decades.

Actually, I think the story goes, after the accident, Richard was so disgusted he crushed the car up with a bulldozer, then buried it in the dirt behind his shop...it was recently dug up a few years ago but is a rusted hulk....Petty family still owns it.
