Two weeks ago I ran across a 1965 Dart GT. I could not pass it. It has a new blue metallic paint job. However the one who masked the roof missed how the rear roof moulding curves at each end. Small thing! New upholstery on the rear seat as well as the front bucket. Need carpet and front/rear glass.

Very nice! I'm off to get this beauty tomorrow.

Awesome! Looks 80ies to me.
The factory 273 looks colorful but under a closer examination it a 1970 or a 1971 318! It's got a four barrel 38xx *** Chrysler intake with a Holley.

Wow, great find in Sweden! Those aren’t exactly a dime a dozen anymore here in North America so even fewer still roam in Europe!

Today I made some progress on the project.
I added the candy canes, hood ornament and the Dodge script. Cleaned and polished the hood moulding so it's ready for tomorrow. New headlights showed up so I could mount them w/trimring.
The quarter glass on each side were blue metallic. After 30 minutes of razerblade boggie they were done, polished and in good shape. Mounted them included the cat whiskers.
The heater is......not so good. I had one heather left except the element. That's next.

The instrument panel was another thing. This one has several rust holes so it will be scrapped.
But found another panel in decent condition from a Dart 270.
I also bought a correct radiator for the car. The wiring systen is untouched. Next will be to sand the instrument panel and paint it in black.

The 4th picture in post 11, ash tray full of backwoods graduation rings with attached booger pickers. LMAO

Today I took out the steering column from the car. I was pretty sure the steering wheel was from a Dodge truck. Man I was wrong. It from a Fjord!!! So need to change. Does anyone what it fits?

For the fake ports I have found the correct rubber nut. But where to find these phillips screw in 1 1/4" lenght with 10-24 threads?

Primered the instrument panel and then a coat of black.

After restoring the heater box for the last day it was finally time to mount it. The seal to the airbox above or what the name is I found in my inventory.
But in place it looks great. Next is to mount the restored instrument panel.

very nice. In the 3rd picture of post #1 I am going to assume that is a reflection and not a dent down the side of the car.

Finally I got the wellnuts. These can be bought on Ebay or from orher venders. The face of the well nut needs to be adjusted with a sharp knife. Then it can be pushed in the holes for the fake exhaust ports.
Easy way when you have painted the car or fixed some rust.

What diameter is the steering wheel? I have two old Ford trucks, and since both have power steering, the OEM wheel is much too large.

Edit: Never mind! I didn't remember that you were located "on the other side of the sunset"!

Anyway, do you have the center cap for the wheel? I may be able to track it down for you if I could see that...

I can measure it tomorrow. Interested?

Finally today the screws showed up for the exhaust ports. Vent just fine and looks good.

Restored the steering column. Now it's ready to install.

Today it was time to start fixing the two rusted areas on the car. First out was the right rear floor pan that needed attention. Took out the rusted piece and made a copy of it. Welded it in place and finished off with black paint.
Next was the air outlet from the cowl. Tricky to cut out but needed to due to rust. Cut out the same piece from a loose cowl.
Tomorrow I will weld it back in place.
