Looks to be in good shape and complete. Will need a rebuild as it has been sitting wrapped up in dry storage for a long time. Selling as is.

The 9801 is a over the counter replacement carb with the Chrysler throttle arm. The electric choke was standard for this aftermarket Carter.

Ford is the only OE manufacturer to use an electric choke TQ in (IIRC) 1974 on the 460 engine as standard equipment.

Electric chokes (as pictured above) were never stock on Chrysler corp vehicles.

A Legendary member here had these rated at 767 cfm. (IIRC)

(And in my opinion, this is a very good deal.)

They are called Carter Super Quads. Rated at 800 cfm. Great carb. They also make a 1000 cfm Kim.

FWIW, the actual cfm differ from the advertised cfm. It all comes down to one word.

Marketing.

Carter did make a pair of race TQ carbs which one pulled down an actual 900 cfm and the other an actual 850 cfm.

The above electric choke is not one of them.
