i have the edlebrock airgap intake with the mr. gasket 180 thermostat. there is about .030" of interference between the two. Is the bottom part of the thermostat supposed to move free while the top part is secured in place by the water neck?
At the moment the bottom part can barely fit in the hole and if it's supposed to move free then the thermostat i have wont work.
