Thick head gaskets???Any of them any good??

Are any of the thicker head gaskets any good? Looking for .045-.053 in order to lower the compression in my 340. Usualy use the fel pro 1008s but @ .039 my compression will be around 11:1. Want to be closer to 10.5:1 up to 10.7 would be O.K.

the Fel Pro 8553 works good...inexpensive also.

Isn't thatthe .054 thick gasket? I have used that before. Works just fine.

.053 would be perfect. That would put me in the 10.6:1 range +/-

yes..fel pro says they are .053

8553PTs are .045 compressed.
