I need to start bringing my camera. Was sitting in a parking lot waiting for the Boss today. A Honda of some sorts went by, was not all that old but holy hell that thing was trashed. Front end was crumpled, parking light was swinging in the breeze, right corner of the hood looked like some one took the jaws of life to it. Right side front window was held up with duct tape, rear door window was a trash bad. Looked like it was hit by a full size truck from the rear.......and then perhaps slammed into a tree at a good clip in reverse as it had a big u shaped dent in the middle of the pushed in part. As it drove away from the traffic light you could see both right side wheels were bent....Hell of a car.....

My 91 Geo looks about as bad. I retired it about 2 weeks ago omly because it lost reverse. It served us well. I have to haul my own garbage to the dump. Law states a truck must cover the load so the Geo was my truck. Bottom line, Folks drive these rags for various reasons. Laugh if you want. I'm one who would laugh with you.
Consider these 2 bumper stickers for my Geo or whatever rag you see out there...
"My other car is a new Viper"
"My other car is up on blocks"
LOL

Years ago someone in Coeur d Alene had a Ferd Maver-yick which was a dark color (brown?) with a lemon yellow front clip on it.

The punchline is, the bumper, grille, hood, fenders of the yellow clip were all damaged, looked like the car had dead centered a power pole.

So the QUESTION is, "your really did fix that car and then wreck it again?" or "you put the wrecked yellow clip on because it was better than the wrecked orginal clip??"

LOL

I have driven bombers like that. Was not laughing at the person, but laughing at the car. I think I might have some pictures of the old Datsun 210 I drove for a winter somewhere. Had a kitchen chair for a seat. Passenger floorboard was a green trash bag to keep the water out. Only opened the passenger door once, it fell off, the hinges were rotted out. I bolted a strap across it to keep anyone from trying to open it. Could only put 5 gallons of gas in it, any more and it leaked out. Motor was so loose I ran gear oil in it.....and it started in 0 degree temps. I think anybody that is a gear head, except for those that have always had the golden spoon in there mouth, have driven a bomber at some point in there life.....
